There is a change in the thought of the world. This change is silently transpiring in our midst, and is more important than any which the world has undergone since the downfall of Paganism.
The whole world is on the eve of a new consciousness, a new power and a new consciousness, a new power and a new realization of the resources within the self. The last century saw the most magnificent material progress in history. The present century will produce the greatest progress in mental and spiritual power.
Physical Science has resolved matter into molecules, molecules into atoms, atoms into energy, and it has remained for Sir Ambrose Fleming, in an address before the Royal Institution, to resolve this energy into mind. He says: "In its ultimate essence, energy may be incomprehensible by us except as an exhibition of the direct
operation of that which we call Mind or Will."
Let us see what are the most powerful forces in Nature. In the mineral world everything is solid and fixed. In the animal and vegetable kingdom it is in a state of flux, forever changing, always being created and recreated. In the atmosphere we find heat, light and energy. Each realm becomes finer and more spiritual as we pass
from the visible to the invisible, from the coarse to the fine, from the low potentiality to high potentiality. When we reach the invisible we find energy in its purest and most volatile state.
Addition and subtraction are therefore spiritual transactions; reasoning is a spiritual process; ideas are spiritual conceptions; questions are spiritual searchlights and logic, argument and philosophy is spiritual machinery.

The Real Truth About Essential Oils that Nobody Talks AboutEssential oils will not encourage “superbugs”
Bacteria have proven that they can mutate to form different kinds of resistant strains of “superbugs” to adapt to the toxic antibiotic drugs. Essential oils have never created a superbug. There have been hundreds of studies clinically proving their effectiveness against pretty much all bacteria, including MRSA and other superbugs.Essential oils have been shown to have antiseptic properties against drug-resistant bacteria. According to research presented at the Society for General Microbiology’s spring meeting in Edinburgh, the essential oils of thyme and cinnamon were found to be particularly efficient antibacterial agents against a range of drug resistant Staphylococcus species which are extremely difficult to treat.According to Science Daily, a Georgetown University research study found that the germ-killing properties of oregano oil were found as effective as most antibiotics — including vancomycin — for treatment of antibiotic-resistant superbugs such as E. coli, Salmonella, MRSA and flesh-eating bacteria.Essential Oils address the causes of disease at a cellular level. Essential oils can penetrate the cellular wall and dispel viruses, whereas antibiotics can only kill bacteria outside of the cellular wall. One drop of essential oils contains enough molecules to cover every cell in our bodies. Just one molecule can open a receptor site in our bodies and communicate with the DNA to alter cellular function.
In like 15 seconds....
emphysema cure > There are approximately 40 million trillion molecules in one drop of essential oil (that’s approximately 40,000 molecules for each cell in the average human body). They are so small, that they enter your body through the skin and go everywhere in your body. Essential oils have an incredible ability to enter the body through the lungs and disperse throughout the body in a way that most other medicines are unable to achieve.

Frankincense Oil – A Cancer Killer
“Frankincense separates the ‘brain’ of the cancerous cell – the nucleus – from the ‘body’ – the cytoplasm, and closes down the nucleus to stop it reproducing corrupted DNA codes,” says Suhail.
Frankincense oil is effective because it contains monoterpenes, compounds which have the ability to help eradicate cancerous cells at the onset of their development, as well as their progression stages, making it ideal for those who discover their cancer regardless of when it’s found.

How Do Essential Oils Fight Allergies? An allergic reaction begins in the immune system. An allergen is a substance that tricks the immune system — making it think that the allergen is an invader. The immune system then overreacts to the allergen, which is really a harmless substance, and produces Immunoglobulin E antibodies. These antibodies travel to cells that release histamine and other chemicals, causing the allergic reaction.
The most common causes of an allergic reaction include:
One of the theories behind explaining the increase in allergies has to do withinflammation, the root of most diseases. The body responds in a certain way to an allergen because the immune system is in overdrive. When the body is already dealing with high inflammation, any allergen sets off an increased reaction. That means that when the body’s immune system is overworked and stressed, introducing an allergen sends the body into overreaction.
If the immune system and inflammation within the body was balanced, the reaction to the allergen would be normal; however, today these reactions are exaggerated and lead to the next unneeded allergic reaction.
One of the most amazing benefits of essential oils are their ability to fight inflammationand boost the immune system. Essential oils for allergies will help to detoxify the body and fight infections, bacteria, parasites, microorganisms and harmful toxins. They reduce the bodies susceptibility to outside sources and reduce the overreaction of the immune system when it is faced with a harmless intruder. Some exceptional essential oils even work to relieve respiratory conditions and increase sweat and urination — helping with the elimination of toxins.
Top 5 Essential Oils for Allergies- dr axe
1. Peppermint Oil
Inhaling diffused peppermint oil can oftentimes immediately unclog the sinuses and offer relief to scratchy throats. Peppermint acts as an expectorant and provides relief for allergies, as well as colds, coughs, sinusitis, asthma and bronchitis. It has the power to discharge phlegm and reduce inflammation — a leading cause of allergic reactions.
A 2010 study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology investigated the effects of peppermint oil in the tracheal rings of rats. The results suggest that peppermint oil is a relaxant and exhibits antispasmodic activity, inhibiting contractions that causes you to cough. (1)
Another study published in the European Journal of Medical Research suggests that peppermint oil treatment has anti-inflammatory effects — reducing the symptoms of chronic inflammatory disorders such as allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma. (2)
Remedy: Diffuse five drops of peppermint essential oil at home to unclog sinuses and treat a scratchy throat. This will also help to relax the nasal muscles, enabling the body to clear out mucus and allergens like pollen. To reduce inflammation, take 1–2 drops of pure peppermint essential oil internally once a day.
It can be added to a glass of water, cup of tea or smoothie. Peppermint oil can also be applied topically to the chest, back of neck and temples. For people with sensitive skin, it is best to dilute peppermint with coconut or jojoba oil before topical application.
2. Basil Oil
Basil essential oil reduces the inflammatory response of allergens. It also supports the adrenal glands, which are involved in producing over 50 hormones that drive almost every bodily function. Essentially, basil essential oil is helping your body to react appropriately to a threat by rushing blood to your brain, heart and muscles.
Basil oil also helps to detoxify the body of bacteria and viruses, while fighting inflammation, pain and fatigue. Studies prove that basil oil shows antimicrobial activity and can kill bacteria, yeast and mold that can lead to asthma and respiratory damage. (3,4)
Remedy: To fight inflammation and regulate the overreaction of the immune system when faced with an allergen, take one drop of basil oil internally by adding it to soup, salad dressing or any other dish. To support the respiratory system, dilute 2–3 drops of basil oil with equal parts coconut oil and apply topically to the chest, back of neck and temples.
3. Eucalyptus Oil
Eucalyptus oil opens up the lungs and sinuses, thereby improving circulation and reducing symptoms of allergies. Studies have shown that it produces a cold sensation in the nose that helps to improve airflow. (5)
Eucalyptus contains citronellal, which has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; it also works as an expectorant, helping to cleanse the body of toxins and harmful microorganisms that are acting as allergens.
A 2011 study published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicinefound that eucalyptus essential oil was an effective treatment for upper respiratory tract infections. Patients who were treated with eucalyptus spray reported an improvement in the severity of their most debilitating respiratory tract infection symptoms compared to participants in the placebo group. Improvement was defined as a reduction of sore throat, hoarseness or cough. (6)
Remedy: To treat respiratory issues associated with allergies, diffuse five drops of eucalyptus at home or apply it topically to the chest and temples. To clear the nasal passages and relieve congestion, pour a cup of boiling water into a bowl and add 1–2 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. Then place a towel over your head and inhale deeply for 5–10 minutes.
4. Lemon Oil
Lemon oil supports lymphatic system drainage and helps with overcoming respiratory conditions. Studies have shown that lemon essential oil inhibits the growth of bacteria and boosts the immune system. When diffused at home, lemon oil can kill bacteria and eliminate allergy triggers in the air. (7, 8)
Adding 1–2 drops of lemon essential oil to water also helps with pH balance. Lemon water improves immune function and detoxifies the body. It stimulates the liver and flushes out toxins that can lead to inflammation and an overreactive immune system. Lemon water also stimulates white blood cell production, which is vital for immune system function because it helps to protect the body.
Lemon essential oil can also be used to disinfect your home, without depending on alcohol or bleach. It will remove bacteria and pollutants from your kitchen, bedroom and bathroom — reducing the triggers inside of your home and keeping the air clean for you and your family. This can be especially helpful as the seasons change and allergens from outside are being brought into your house on shoes and clothes.
Remedy: Add lemon oil to your laundry detergent, mix a couple of drops with water and spray it on your couches, sheets, curtains and carpets.
5. Tea Tree Oil
This powerful oil can destroy airborne pathogens that cause allergies. Diffusing tea tree oil in the home will kill mold, bacteria and fungi. It is an antiseptic agent and it has anti-inflammatory properties. Tea tree oil can be applied to the skin to kill bacteria and microorganisms; it can also be used as a household cleaner to disinfect the home and eliminate allergens. (9)
A 2000 study conducted in Germany found that tea tree oil exhibits antimicrobial activity against a wide range of bacteria, yeasts and fungi. These microbes lead to inflammation and force our immune system to work on overdrive. (10)
Remedy: Use tea tree oil on skin rashes and hives or as a household cleaner. When using tea tree topically, add 2–3 drops to a clean cotton ball and gently apply to the area of concern. For people with sensitive skin, dilute tea tree with a carrier oil first, like coconut or jojoba oil.
How to Use Essential Oils for AllergiesFood Allergies — Take 1–2 drops of lemon or peppermint oil internally to relieve the symptoms of a food allergy. This will help to detoxify the body and eliminate the allergens through sweat or urination.
Skin Rash & Hives — Use tea tree or basil oil topically to treat skin rashes and hives. Add 2–3 drops to a cotton ball and apply to the affected area. Layering oils over the liver area is another way to treat skin irritations because it helps the liver to flush out toxins that burden the skin. Dilute 3–4 drops of tea tree oil with coconut oil and rub it into the liver area.
Seasonal Allergies — Disinfect your home with lemon and tea tree oil; this will eliminate triggers and cleanse the air and your furniture. Add 40 drops of lemon oil and 20 drops of tea tree oil to a 16-ounce spray bottle. Fill the bottle with pure water and a little bit of white vinegar and spray the mixture on any area in your home.
To reduce respiratory issues associated with seasonal allergies, try my Homemade Vapor Rub; it delivers a soothing feeling that will open up the airways and make it easier to breathe.
Allergy Blend — Combine 2–3 drops of peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender oil with one teaspoon of coconut oil and massage the mixture into the temples, behind the ears and into the bottoms of the feet.
Possible Side EffectsWhen using these special essential oil for allergies, I don’t recommend that you take tea tree oil internally; it’s best to use tea tree aromatically or topically. When using any of these oils topically, dilute with a carrier oil, especially when using on sensitive skin or one sensitive areas, like under the eyes or on the neck.

- Pollen
- Dust
- Mold
- Insect stings
- Animal dander
- Food
- Medications
- Latex

Dabbling and Blending in Magic
Learning to use magic is a lifelong study. It takes knowledge and practice, just like any other art or craft. You really can't approach it as a part-time endeavor. Nor can you randomly take a bit of this and a bit of that from different traditions or systems and expect success in your workings.
Many people believe that they can read a book and cast a spell to bend the world to their will and make life perfect. The fact is, we need to learn and grow in our respective magical systems and paths, and discover life's deepest meanings for ourselves, in order to be successful in our spell casting.
Any system of magic must be learned, understood and practiced individually to gain sufficient experience. Embrace the vast amount of ritual, wisdom and lore that is exclusive to your particular system before seeking to "blend" bits and pieces from other traditions into your workings.
Native American culture mixed with Santeria ceremony and topped off with Buddhist philosophy may not blend well together for you, unless you have a true and deep understanding and experience of each.
Different cultures, varying beliefs and a variety of spiritual practices are accompanied by differing ethical boundaries and spiritual focuses. Some systems, for example, promote releasing attachment to material objects as a goal. Yet in others, certain material objects are not only prized, but sacred.
More importantly, views on deities, destiny, life and magic can greatly differ among magical systems. If you spend your energies on creating a magical system composed of a bit of "this" philosophy and "that" technique instead of learning the "tried-and-true" methods of your particular system, your skills will never be more than rudimentary at best.
Seek to gain a certain level - a mastery in fact - of practical experience in your particular system. Don't come to magic and begin randomly discarding ancient wisdom in the belief that somehow you can cobble together a superior system without a thorough grounding in the basics.

Stuffing your little pagan
From: Brittany Rogers <[email protected]>
Date: November 7, 2012, 12:37:06 PM CST To: Brittany Rogers <[email protected]> Subject: Nutrition Suggestions! Nutrition is KEY for weight loss. You absolutely can NOT out exercise a bad diet! I promise. The key is to basically eliminate any processed foods you may be eating. Many "health" foods these days are NOT healthy although they are labeled healthy. You should not eat anything with more than a few ingredients! This means no fiber one 90 calorie bars, no protein bars, no 90 calorie snack packs, no chips, cereal, crackers, slim fast, etc. Below I listed some grocery ideas, what your meals should be consisting of, and then some fun breakfast/dessert recipes. I didn't put any lunch or dinner because that should consist of any lean protein/veggie/complex carb (sweet potato, brown rice, quinoa) of your choosing. Try to eliminate carbs at dinner time. You can eat an unlimited amount of veggies at dinner! So instead of loading your plate with rice or potatoes, load up on broccoli or asparagus and eat enough of it so you are full! There is NO need to starve to lose weight. Not eating enough is only going to deprive your body and make you binge at a later date. If you cut out all processed foods and follow what I have listed below I promise you will be very, very happy with your results and you will feel much better!! Please trust me when I say those "health" foods aren't healthy! You can, however, have ONE cheat meal a week. One day one meal a week, if you choose, you can eat whatever you want. It helps eliminate your craving for bad food during the week. It has to be the same day each week, you can't just choose random days to cheat, so if you choose Saturday keep it Saturday! Have an appetizer, entree, and dessert! Go crazy! Anyways, I'm done rambling. Now get to grocery shopping! :) This is just a GUIDE!! I did my best researching and am still continuing to learn :) Healthy Grocery Ideas Meat/Poultry Frozen, skinless chicken breast Low fat sliced chicken or turkey deli meat Turkey burgers (as lean as you can get) Lean ground beef Ground turkey NY choice lean sirloin steak Grains Old-fashioned oatmeal Whole-wheat tortillas Low-fat whole wheat frozen waffles Whole-wheat English muffins Whole-wheat bread Ezekiel bread (best choice!! , found in freezer section at publix and health food stores) Whole-wheat spaghetti Brown rice Quinoa Produce Celery Scallions Spinach leaves Fresh tomatoes Cucumbers Carrots Broccoli Sweet potatoes Onions Mushrooms Avocado Fruit Blueberries Raspberries Green Apples Peaches Strawberries Pears Dairy Grated low-fat parmesan Low-fat cheese slices Low-fat string cheese Fat-free sour cream Skim milk Unsweetened Almond milk (better than skim) Low-fat cottage cheese Fresh eggs Egg whites Plain non-fat greek yogurt Fish Salmon filet Canned tuna in water Trout Tilapia Hake Shrimp Oils/Dressings Extra virgin olive oil Balsamic vinegar Italian vinaigrette Cooking spray Spices Cinnamon Pepper/salt Paprika Garlic powder Cloves of fresh garlic Cumin Parsley Basil Oregano Cilantro Chili flakes Ginger Mrs. Dash seasonings Toppings/Condiments Sugar-free syrup Fresh lime juice/ lemon juice Light teriyaki marinade Almonds/mixed nuts Pistachios Walnuts All natural peanut butter PB2 (netrition.com sells it or any whole foods store, netrition is probably cheaper) Salsa Low-sodium soy sauce Ketchup (no sugar added- use sparingly, high sodium) Dijon Mustard Chia seeds (health foods store or netrition, superfood!! Chia is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids and is also rich in antioxidants. Chia seeds also provide fiber (25 grams give you 6.9 grams of fiber) as well as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, copper, iron, molybdenum, niacin, and zinc and help you feel full for longer periods of time. They have no flavor and can be added to anything; smoothies, yogurt, salads, eat them as a snack, or grind them and mix them with flour when making muffins or other baked goods) Flax seeds (milled, can be added to anything just like chia seeds)-
Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks each day. Space each meal or snack about 3 hours from the previous meal or snack. Eat and drink the following in unlimited quantities:
The supplements I recommend you take is a good multivitamin, fish oil pills (if you aren't eating chia or flax), and a whey protein powder. Whey is fast absorbing protein. I have listed below when the best time to consume protein is. Also, some of the recipes I have listed below use whey as an ingredient. You can buy whey powder at any nutrition store or even Walmart. There are hundreds of flavors, choose whatever you like! Best time to take protein powders 1. Breakfast. You haven't eaten for approximately 8 hours so a protein shake is ideal. 2. Immediately post-workout. This is the most critical time, as after exercising your muscles need to rebuild and repair themselves. In other words, protein shakes at this time will aid in recovery, preserve muscle mass and/or achieve muscle growth-- particularly in combination with some carbohydrate. Protein shakes are especially ideal because solid protein/food takes longer to digest. 3. Before your workout. The protein shake will help preserve muscle tissue by minimizing exercise induced muscle breakdown and will provide a small amount of energy. (If taken before a workout, you should have it a hour to an hour and a half before) 4. Before bed. Consuming a casein (not whey) protein shake (or some of the below recipes such as frozen yogurt, cottage cheese, mousse) will feed your muscles throughout the night while you sleep. Protein powders are high in branched-chain amino acids, will have anabolic/anti-catabolic properties. Supplying the body with these amino acids post-workout may help spare muscles and other tissues from breakdown, increase protein synthesis, regulate blood sugar levels, reduce fatigue during exercise and aid in fat loss. Proteins are not all created equal. Nuts, whole grains, and veggies technically count, but they don't contain all nine of the amino acids your body needs in order to build lean muscle. Those that do, known as complete proteins, will be your best flat-belly bets. They are typically found in animal products such as white chicken or turkey, seafood, low-fat dairy, pork tenderloin, and lean beef. All of these foods have just one to three grams of fat per 50-calorie serving. Some healthy recipe ideas that will make you feel like you are cheating!! How Rosemary Oil Stimulates Hair Growth
Patrica Davis, in her book, "Aromatherapy: An A-Z," debunks the use of rosemary oil for hair growth as a "myth"; however, Valerie Ann Worwood, in her book, "The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy," recommends the use of rosemary oil for hair growth. According to Worwood, rosemary oil stimulates cell division and dilates blood vessels and, in turn, stimulates hair follicles into producing new hair growth. Rosemary oil is not the only essential oil credited with stimulating hair growth. http://bit.ly/Y6mVMq http://omtimes.com/2013/05/how-do-i-know-if-im-channeling/
“Because they are primeval, because they outlive us, because they are fixed, trees seem to emanate a sense of permanence. And though rooted in earth, they seem to touch the sky. For these reasons it is natural to feel we might learn wisdom from them, to haunt about them with the idea that if we could only read their silent riddle rightly we should learn some secret vital to our own lives; or even, more specifically, some secret vital to our real, our lasting and spiritual existence.”
- Kim Taplin - A mighty wind blew night and day.
It stole the Oak Tree's leaves away. Then snapped its boughs and pulled its bark until the Oak was tired and stark. But still the Oak Tree held its ground while other trees fell all around. The weary wind gave up and spoke, "How can you still be standing Oak?" The Oak Tree said, I know that you can break each branch of mine in two, carry every leaf away, shake my limbs and make me sway. But I have roots stretched in the earth, growing stronger since my birth. You'll never touch them, for you see they are the deepest part of me. Until today, I wasn't sure of just how much I could endure. But now I've found with thanks to you, I'm stronger than I ever knew. - Johnny Ray Ryder Jr. - art by Arthur Szygulski - The Oak Tree By tajna (dajana)
Friend or Foe I was wondering where afew "Religions" fall into play, such as wicka or laveyanes (if that is how you spell that). i have quite afew friends who practice wicka and i can't honestly decide what is what with them. But my more serious consern is Voodoo. i have afew close friends who practice voodoo/hoodoo, and at first they seemed almost as if they were close to being on the right track, but as time goes on it started to make less sense, and soon seemed as if our enemies where behing it. Some of there magickal practise is valid or close to it, but at the same time feels deluded. could someone give me some insight, im rather lost. ************************************************************* Protip: Anything that does not focus on achieving godhood, and following Satan as a benevolent deity... is bullshit. ************************************************************** Voodoo is a mix of Satanism and catholicism in my opinion, as they pray to the 'saints' and the virgin bitch. I've read some books about it. It came from the slaves who mixed their paganism with that of xianity. It won't get you to godhood but some things have merit such as the spells, sympathetic magick, and obeahs. But magick is worked with your mind, objects only act to amplify the powers. (ED_ i actually had no answer for this, yeah :) for once i didnt have an answer or comment :P) |
